Cholesterol
Cholesterol is a fatty molecule that has a waxy consistency and can be found in all of the cells in your body. To produce hormones, vitamin D, and other compounds that are necessary for digestion, your body need a certain amount of cholesterol. Your body is capable of producing all of the cholesterol it requires. Egg yolks, beef, and cheese are examples of foods that come from animals and include cholesterol. Cholesterol can also be found in seafood [1].Steinberg, D., Parthasarathy, S., Carew, T. E., Khoo, J. C., & Witztum, J. L. (1989). Beyond cholesterol.
